With-in a team of 16 designers, I was one of the multi-discipline designers. Working on UX problems as well as visual design work. The variation (platform, country, provider) is one of many things that made this assignment challenging each day.
While working on multi-device software. I was also responsible for completing the Design Language System and update & maintain the Design Library for all designers.

Launched Media Box Next
The project first launched in Switzerland, the smallest market with a few million users. Following that, the Media Box Next was launched in the Netherlands.
Changed Workflow
Introduced bi-weekly user tests to continuously validate our hypothesis and user flows
Simplified Design Language System
DLS became big around that time and Sketch was leading the pack. Implemented component settings into the library
The challenge of aligning linear television and video on demand was hard
This was a really tough challenge. We were designing mostly a VOD view. While linear TV was still leading among our customers. Business goals in mind we couldn't focus on one or the other.
So we started the design on one of the biggest features launched on the media box.

Introducing bi-weekly user test to validate our designs
Since we’ve introduced user testing, it is now adopted company-wide. Every medium design decision is tested with users. Due to sensitive business operations we couldn't ask any user to test the product. Together with other designers and management we've created an internal poule of (cleared & verified) users to test our designs with
