Implemented and extended the Figma DLS from ING. While applying (common) design patterns across the platform

Keep all PO's informed and managed expectations from the ING board

Decommissioned 6 legacy tools
Saving the team 30% in login time. Where we used human centered design to determine crucial features
Simplified data visualization
We did that by implementing AG grid complemented with custom actions to quickly find the data required by the trader.
Reduced amount of software and tools used
Made several deprecated tools redundant and cut them out of some processes

When I joined the project no designer was employed with the job. It was to me to set a long term vision for the product. To align the development team with UX and Design Thinking methods and business objectives.

By interviewing key users for each department we found out that many repetitive task where performed each day.
We tried and failed with some of our ideas for quick actions in the beginning. While iterating on designs we found a few solutions for repetitive tasks.

Next project
ING
For one of the largest Dutch banks I had the pleasure to be Strategy UX/UI designer while also advocating and implementing Design Thinking into the IPA portal of ING.
This new positioning and pricing portal replaces multiple deprecated systems with a future-proof web-based portal with the latest techniques. Not only are we getting rid of the old MS-Dos / Windows platform software. We designed a better user experience. We aim to make the portal the single source for trading, risk, and information for any ING employee.
