DLS Bootcamp
AI has become inseparable from modern design workflows, just like design systems. As a curious., ambitious designer, I took this course to grow my prompting skills, and the outcome genuinely surprised me. Using prompts alone, I built an interactive design system powered by LLMs. From scratch and even applicable to an existing project.
Throughout the course, I worked hands-on with tools such as ChatGPT, JSON, Cursor, and Figma (Make), exploring how AI can accelerate, enhance, and elevate the design process.
During this four-week bootcamp, I deepened my understanding of design systems and refined the way I think about tokens. I simplified the traditional structure of reference, system, and component tokens into a clear model of primitives and semantic tokens. Most of my time went into prompting variables and shaping them into a fully functioning, AI-generated design system.
Because of my existing experience with design systems, I was able to enrich the bootcamp with additional components, principles, and improvements of my own. Making the process both efficient and genuinely enjoyable.
